Job summary

B&B Theatres is hiring a part-time Shift Lead in New Iberia, LA. You will supervise frontline staff during shifts, ensure guest satisfaction, and uphold safety and service standards.

Eligible candidates must be 18+, with weekend/holiday availability, strong customer service, and leadership abilities. Responsibilities include training staff, managing cash, and coordinating across departments to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of hire.
• Available to open and/or close the theatre on a regular basis, including weekends and holidays.
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Positive and proactive attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and work effectively in a team environment.
• Reliable transportation. (The ability to run company errands and provide current vehicle insurance is a plus.)
• If aged 21 and older, R-Serving certification is required for all locations with bars or packaged alcohol and you must be willing and able to pour basic drinks.
• Must obtain Food Handler and/or Food Manager certifications as required by specific location assignments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate staff during assigned shifts to ensure smooth operations.
• Train, mentor, and support team members to maintain service and operational standards.
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Monitor workflow, coordinate tasks, and ensure proper execution of operational procedures.
• Assist with opening, closing, and shift transition procedures, including cash handling and recordkeeping.
• Communicate effectively with management and team members to resolve issues and maintain efficiency.
• Perform other operational duties as assigned to support staff and maintain high-quality service.
• Work independently or collaboratively to ensure smooth shift operations and guest satisfaction.
