Job summary

Regal Cinemas seeks an Assistant Manager to lead daily theatre operations, develop the team, and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You’ll supervise staff, train and coach, schedule, and coordinate with the GM on performance management.

You’ll manage cash handling, inventory, promotions, and theatre presentation, while ensuring compliance with safety standards and training requirements. This role is based in California and requires flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 3+ months of supervisory experience or equivalent leadership potential
• 6 months theatre experience with completion of relevant training
• Equivalent experience or demonstrated leadership potential
• Must meet alcohol service requirements where applicable
• Must complete Regal training and certification programs
• Working knowledge of theatre operations and projection systems (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Lead daily theatre operations and ensure strong staff performance and guest experience
• Perform all staff positions as needed
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety standards, and certification requirements
• Train, coach, and supervise team; support hiring, scheduling, and performance with GM oversight
• Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally; support promotions and theatre presentation
• Oversee cash handling, reporting, inventory, cost control, and profitability support
• Manage theatre operations and facilities including maintenance and audio-visual systems
• Market and promote feature film engagements; schedule show times and channel delivery
