Job summary

Regal in Springfield, VA is seeking an Assistant Manager to operate and supervise the theatre and its employees, acting as a representative of Regal in line with our mission and policies. This hourly role requires leadership, training, and the ability to manage show times, cash handling, and guest satisfaction.

You will collaborate with the GM and HR Manager on staffing, safety, and compliance, while delivering excellent guest experiences and overseeing daily theatre operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum three months of supervisory experience.
• Willingness to complete Regal training programs and Cast Certification as required.
• Ability to operate projection and audio-visual equipment and manage facility systems.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise a team of theatre staff and ensure attendance, dress code, and policy compliance.
• Oversee all projection and AV operations, including maintenance and programming.
• Handle cash receipts, deposits, and reconciliations; manage cost controls and inventory.
• Assist in interviewing, hiring, scheduling, coaching, and disciplining staff with GM/HR input.
• Support marketing/promotions for film engagements and ensure timely show times.
