Job summary

Regal in Virginia Beach seeks an Assistant Manager to help run daily theatre operations and supervise staff across shifts. You will ensure safety, policy compliance, and excellent guest service while supporting the General Manager.

The role requires ability to train and coach team members, manage cash handling, and coordinate show times and promotions. A strong customer service focus and basic computer skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; supervisory potential preferred.
• Completion of Cast Certification Program or theatre management potential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee theatre operations and supervise staff across shifts.
• Train, coach and evaluate non-management employees.
• Operate projection and audio-visual systems and handle maintenance as needed.
• Ensure alcohol certification and safety procedures are up to date.
• Manage cash handling, deposits and reconciliations daily.
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, scheduling and performance discussions.
• Control operating costs and manage concession/cafe stock.
• Promote film offerings and schedule show times.
