Job summary

Regal Cinemas in California is seeking an Assistant Manager to operate daily theatre functions and supervise staff. This hourly position acts as a Regal representative, ensuring policies are followed and guests have a positive experience.

You will train and coach team members, handle scheduling, cash handling, and equipment operation, and maintain safety and HR standards while supporting operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising theatre staff or completion of Cast Certification Program.
• Ability to communicate clearly with employees and guests.
• Capability to manage time, budgeting, and compliance with policies.

Responsibilities

• Attend regularly and uphold theatre policies.
• Train, coach and supervise non-management staff.
• Perform all staff roles as needed.
• Operate projection and AV equipment and maintain systems.
• Ensure alcohol certification is current.
• Monitor safety, risk management and incidents.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and handle receipts.
• Oversee hiring, scheduling, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
• Control costs and manage concessions stock.
• Oversee theatre maintenance and vendor coordination.
• Plan marketing and showtimes delivery.
• Review training materials including harassment policy.
