Job summary

Cinemark USA, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to support theatre operations and ensure policies are followed while maintaining high service standards. You will be cross-trained across departments and contribute to training and development of team members.

The role offers growth through the Management Accreditation Program and a path to Senior Assistant Manager followed by Theatre Manager or General Manager after six months of successful performance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School or GED graduate preferred.
• Completion of three basic courses (Management Foundations, Annual Certifications, and MAP Core) within Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program.
• Completes basic food handling training and obtains any local or state mandated certification, health card, or food handlers permit where required.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Requires regular and consistent attendance.
• Provides excellent Guest service.
• Accurate cash handling and basic math skills.
• Interpersonal skills to communicate with all ages and personalities.
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
• Ability to train and lead others.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager.
• Supports General Manager’s decisions in communication with staff.
• Works in all departments and theatre job functions.
• Trains and coaches Team Members in their specific job functions.
• Assists in preparing administrative and special reports for the General Manager.
• Observes and participates in inspections of theatre property and equipment condition.
• Reports the need for building, property, and equipment repairs to General Manager.
• Ensures Team Members follow dress code.
• Interacts with Guests to provide superior Customer service.
• Learns and follows Cinemark’s Guidelines and enforces them with staff.
• Reports all Employee relations issues to the General Manager.
