Job summary

Cinemark USA, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to help operate the theatre. You will support the General Manager, supervise across departments, train Team Members, and ensure adherence to policies. The role serves as a stepping stone to Senior Assistant Manager and Theatre Manager through the Management Accreditation Program.

The position requires flexible availability, strong guest service, and solid cash handling skills, with opportunities for growth within a smoke-free theatre environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School or G.E.D. required; MAP completion recommended.
• Availability for flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience in food handling and safety training where required.
• Strong guest service and cash handling abilities.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager.
• Supports General Manager's decisions in communication with staff.
• Works in all departments and theatre job functions.
• Trains and coaches Team Members in their specific functions.
• Assists in preparation of administrative and special reports for the General Manager.
• Ensures staff follow Cinemark guidelines and dress code.
• Interacts with guests to ensure superior customer service.
• Escalates Employee relations issues per policy.
