Job summary

Cinemark USA, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to support theatre operations and ensure policy adherence across departments. You will train Team Members, handle administrative tasks, and help drive excellent customer service.

The role offers cross-training across departments, growth through the Management Accreditation Program, and opportunities to advance to Senior Assistant Manager or Theatre Manager after six months of demonstrated performance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School or GED preferred.
• Completion of three basic courses (Management Foundations, Annual Certifications, and MAP Core) within Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program.
• Completes basic food handling training and obtains any local or state mandated certification, health card, or food handlers permit where required.
• Management team members who work with alcohol must complete Safe Alcohol Service training.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular and consistent attendance is required.
• Provides excellent Guest service and effective interpersonal skills.
• Able to communicate with all ages and personalities in English.
• Ability to train and lead others and work in both team and independent settings.

Responsibilities

• Follow the direction of the General Manager and support decisions
• Lead and coach Team Members in their roles
• Work across departments to support theatre operations
• Assist in preparing administrative and special reports
• Monitor theatre safety, cleanliness, and equipment condition
• Ensure dress code compliance and guest service excellence
• Report employee relations issues through proper channels
• Enforce Cinemark policies with fairness and consistency
• Address safety, security, and hazard concerns promptly
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management
