Job summary

Cinemark USA, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to support theatre operations in Meridian, Idaho. You will work across departments, training staff and ensuring policies are followed to achieve standards.

The path includes progression to Senior Assistant Manager and Theatre Manager after completing the Management Accreditation Program and six months of service. You will assist in reporting, ensure consistent customer service, and help manage daily theatre activities, scheduling, and training.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School or G.E.D. graduate preferred.
• Completion of basic management courses in Cinemark’s Accreditation Program.
• Ability to train and lead others.
• Excellent Guest service and cash handling skills.
• Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager
• Supports General Manager’s decisions in communication with the staff
• Responsible for working in all departments and all theatre job functions
• Trains and coaches Team Members
• Assists in preparation of administrative and special reports
• Observes theatre building, property, and equipment condition
• Ensures dress code compliance and superior customer service
• Enforces policies with all Team Members fairly and consistently
• Reports employee relations issues to the General Manager
• Maintains high work ethic and code of conduct
• Identifies and sanitizes high-contact areas and uses PPE appropriately
• Addresses safety or security issues promptly
• Performs other duties as assigned
