Job summary

Cinemark Assistant Manager position available to support theatre operations and staff across departments. You will follow the General Manager's directions, train team members, and help ensure high standards of service and safety.

Ideal candidates have 18+ years, a high school diploma or GED, and completion of Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program, plus flexible availability for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of Cinemark's Management Accreditation Program courses.
• Completes basic food handling training and obtains any local/state mandated certification.
• Management with alcohol handling requires Safe Alcohol Service training.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Energetic and friendly attitude with excellent Guest service.
• Accurate cash handling and basic math skills.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.
• Ability to train and lead others and resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager.
• Supports General Manager’s decisions in communication with staff.
• Works across all departments and theatre job functions.
• Trains and coaches Team Members in their functions.
• Prepares administrative and special reports for the General Manager.
• Observes and reports on theatre and property conditions; coordinates repairs.
