Job summary

AMC Theatres in McLean, VA is seeking a dynamic Supervisor to lead theatre crew, ensure guest satisfaction, and keep daily operations running smoothly. You will coach staff, manage opening/closing, handle cash, assist in inventory, and resolve guest concerns in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

You will work evenings and weekends, promote a safe, welcoming atmosphere, and collaborate with management to maintain high service standards and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old; age requirements may apply by location.
• Six months of supervisory or commensurate leadership experience.
• Evening, weekend, and holiday availability; year-round operations.
• Reliable, on-time, able to follow policies and dress standards.
• Strong guest service, communication, leadership and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and coach theatre crew through daily responsibilities and guest service.
• Oversee opening/closing procedures and access for vendors during off-hours.
• Assign registers, balance cash, reconcile floor safes and prepare deposits.
• Maintain cash-handling accuracy and assist inventory and crew scheduling.
• Troubleshoot system issues, resolve guest concerns, and process refunds when needed.
• Perform daily operations and administrative tasks; support management as directed.
