Job summary

Emagine Entertainment Inc. is seeking a Manager, Box Office to support theatre operations, lead by example, and drive guest satisfaction. You will supervise staff, handle HR tasks, and manage Box Office activities while ensuring safety and policy compliance in a dynamic environment.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and a track record of leadership in hospitality or similar settings. A 401(k) matching benefit is available as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a hospitality or restaurant industry.
• College education in a related field is considered an asset.
• Proven leadership experience.
• Strong commitment to delivering high-quality service in a guest-focused environment.
• Ability to identify solutions, improve efficiencies, and drive results.
• Confident presenting recommendations and providing operational guidance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily theatre operations, including opening/closing procedures and shift reporting.
• Supervise, train, and assign tasks to employees with high standards of service.
• Manage labor, inventory, and expenditures to meet financial objectives.
• Respond to and resolve guest concerns and service recovery situations.
• Support other theatre functions to ensure seamless operation.
• Manage full-cycle recruitment including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, onboarding.
• Coordinate and maintain building certifications and compliance records.
• Oversee the Box Office operations, budgets, and loyalty programs.
