Job summary

Megaplex Logan theatre is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead guest experiences and team operations, delivering a larger-than-life cinema experience. You’ll oversee staffing, service quality, and show execution to ensure every guest has a memorable visit.

We’re looking for 2+ years in theatre management or guest service, strong leadership, and excellent communication. This part-time role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of theatre management or guest-service experience.
• Excellent guest service, leadership and motivation.
• Strong verbal and written communication and organization.
• Proficient computer skills with AV equipment and POS knowledge.
• Ability to deliver results with minimal supervision.
• Passion for teaching and team development.
• Ability to handle high stress in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina and the ability to stand/walk.
• Willing to work long hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of Megaplex and deliver high-quality guest service.
• Oversee theatre operations and ensure smooth show experiences.
• Keep staff staffing and morale high.
• Manage inventory and store supplies.
• Plan, forecast, and track sales performance.
• Stay current with digital cinema and POS software.
• Address projection issues and maintenance.
• Ensure building and public areas are clean and safe.
• Lead and develop the theatre team.
• Act as Manager on Duty (MOD).
