Job summary

Cinemark is seeking a Theatre Team Member to create a welcoming guest experience. You will assist Guests, operate the POS system, verify tickets, and provide movie information while maintaining a clean and safe theatre environment.

The role supports various positions (Usher, Box Office, Concessionist) as staffing needs arise and requires strong communication and teamwork in a fast-paced venue.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Completes basic food handling training and obtains any local or state mandated certification or health card where required.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular and consistent attendance required.
• Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift.
• Provides excellent guest service.
• Able to communicate in English with guests of all ages and backgrounds.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Able to take and follow direction with urgency.
• Accurate cash handling and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets Guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner.
• Operates Cinemark’s POS system for all transactions on assigned register.
• Verifies tickets and directs Guests to the auditorium.
• Ensures tickets sold in accordance with MPAA rating system and policies.
• Provides pricing, movie info, and general theatre information.
• Responds to Guest questions in a professional manner.
• Maintains theatre cleanliness and safety throughout the venue.
• Supports setup and closing duties as assigned.
• Performs other duties as needed.
