Job summary

Cinemark Team Members create a welcoming environment for our Guests. A Team Member is quick, accurate, and knowledgeable about movies, events, pricing, and promotions to ensure a heroic guest experience. Team Members may work as Usher, Box Office, or Concessionist based on staffing needs.

They answer guest questions, handle transactions on the POS, verify tickets, and help maintain a safe, clean theatre. English communication and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Completes basic food handling training and obtains any local or state mandated certification, health card, or food handlers permit where required.
• Availability to work flexible hours which include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Requires regular and consistent attendance.
• Has an energetic and friendly attitude during each shift.
• Provides excellent Guest service.
• Interpersonal skills include the ability to communicate in English with all ages and personalities.
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
• Ability to take and follow direction and respond with urgency.
• Accurate cash handling and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner.
• Operate Cinemark’s POS system for all transactions completed on assigned register.
• Verify tickets at podium and direct Guests to an auditorium.
• Ensure tickets are sold in accordance with MPAA ratings and policy.
• Provide pricing, movie information, and event details.
• Respond to phone calls and questions from Guests professionally.
• Conduct theatre inspections to monitor presentation, security, and cleanliness.
• Keep theatre areas clean and free from debris.
• Prepare food and operate cooking and warming equipment safely.
• Wipe down and sanitize high-contact areas regularly.
• Comply with local, state, and federal food safety laws.
• Monitor safety issues and report to management.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as needed.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
