Job summary

Cinemark Team Members create a welcoming environment for our Guests. A Team Member is quick, accurate, and knowledgeable about movies, events, pricing, and promotions. They may work as Usher, Box Office, or Concessionist as staffing needs require.

Roles require excellent guest service, the ability to operate the POS system, and strong teamwork. The position involves safety, cleanliness, and compliance with policies across the theatre.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must complete basic food handling training and obtain any local/state mandated certification, health card, or food handlers permit where required.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Provides excellent Guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently; follow directions and respond with urgency.
• Accurate cash handling and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets Guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner.
• Operates Cinemark’s POS system for all transactions completed on assigned register.
• Verifies tickets at podium and directs Guests to an auditorium.
• Ensures tickets are sold in accordance with MPAA rating system and company policy.
• Provides pricing, movie information, and general theatre details to Guests.
• Responds to phone calls and questions from Guests in a professional manner.
• Maintains theatre cleanliness and safety in lobbies, auditoriums, and restrooms.

• Monitors safety and security issues and reports to management.
