Job summary

Cinemark USA, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to support theatre operations across departments and train staff. The role leads by example, ensures policies are followed, and helps drive excellent guest experiences in a fast-paced cinema environment.

Growth path includes progression to Senior Assistant Manager and Theatre Manager after completing the Management Accreditation Program and meeting tenure requirements. Must be 18+ with flexible availability and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School or GED required or equivalent.
• Completion of Cinemark Management Accreditation Program (MAP) courses.
• Food handling training and any local certifications when required.
• If handling alcohol, Safe Alcohol Service training.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Strong guest service orientation and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work in a team and independently; good communication.

Responsibilities

• Follow General Manager directions and support staff communications.
• Assist in all theatre departments and job functions.
• Train and coach team members on their duties.
• Prepare admin and reports for the General Manager.
• Inspect theatre facilities and report repairs.
• Ensure compliance with dress code and safety practices.
• Deliver superior customer service and guest experiences.
• Enforce company policies and employee relations protocols.
