Job summary

Fresno City College is seeking a part-time Theatre Arts Instructor to support its diverse student population. The instructor will teach a variety of Theatre Arts courses, utilize multiple teaching methods including online and hybrid formats, and collaborate with faculty to ensure student success.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate equity-minded practices, experience with diverse learners, and the ability to work collaboratively within a college community.

• Evidence of responsiveness to diverse student backgrounds and equitable practices.
• Degrees/credentials as required for minimum qualifications; equivalency possible.

Responsibilities

• Teach a part-time schedule of Theatre Arts courses as assigned.
• Use varied pedagogies and diverse delivery methods including online and hybrid formats.
• Communicate effectively with students, faculty and staff.
• Adhere to approved curriculum outlines and course objectives.
• Evaluate student progress with tests, assignments and exams.
• Provide course syllabi and maintain accurate classroom records.
• Submit grading and evaluations in a timely manner.
• Accept assignments in varied instructional settings and times.
• Fulfill duties as required by Administrative Regulation 7122 and other duties as assigned.
