Job summary

The University of La Verne is seeking a Theatre Arts Student Financial Admin. Assistant to support daily department operations, help manage the box office and front of house for the theatre season, and provide administrative assistance.

Ideal candidates are enrolled as graduate students at ULV, with experience in graphics, writing, and video production. The role is designed for junior, senior, and graduate ULV student workers, with a flexible weekday schedule, some evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate student at ULV; must provide a letter of recommendation speaking to character and experience.
• Familiarity with theatre publicity tools such as computer software, video, or programming.

Responsibilities

• Create events on Eventbrite to manage ticket sales/reservations for department productions.
• Handle money and track revenue from theatre productions and other ticketed events.
• Produce box office reports.
• Document work by updating the publicity handbook.
• Track expenses and reconcile accounts; collect receipts and produce monthly reports.
• Manage contracts for outside providers (designers, visiting artists, rental groups).
• Generate pay advices for adjunct faculty.
