The role requires 5+ years in strategic accounts sales within the food industry, a chemistry or food science background, and travel for customer meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in sciences (food science, biology) or technical equivalent preferred.
• 5+ years of strategic accounts sales experience with a food industry background.
• Demonstrated expertise in texture ingredients including product functionality and processing knowledge.
• Proven experience developing and managing strategic supplier partnerships and business planning.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; able to train and explain hydrocolloids and starch applications.

Responsibilities

• Drive market share growth through strategic supplier relationships and cross-functional collaboration.
• Enable sales teams with product benefits, applications, and market positioning.
• Deliver training on hydrocolloids and starch to customers and internal teams.
• Identify new growth opportunities and expand market share within existing and new accounts.
• Analyze market trends and competitive activity to inform go-to-market strategies.
• Develop and execute product line go-to-market strategies with cross-functional teams.
• Support customer engagement through meetings, visits, and business development.
• Grow accounts through increased penetration and acquisition of opportunities.
• Own product, technical, and processing knowledge to support Sales and Product Management.
• Build market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing opportunities.
• Pursue ongoing professional development through reading and networking.
