Job summary

Goodwill Southern New England seeks a Retail Material Sorter to sort donated textiles and prepare items for resale. You will tag, price and set up merchandise, assist customers, and maintain stock and display areas under supervision.

The role requires weekend, holiday and evening availability in a retail environment; cross-training to janitor, handler and sales roles may occur as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• 1–3 months related experience or training, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Sort donated textiles to meet quality standards for resale.
• Tag, price and display merchandise according to guidelines.
• Assist customers with locating merchandise and processing purchases.
• Assist with unloading, stocking and general retail duties.
