Weekend, holiday, and evening hours are common in retail. The job requires basic reading, math skills, and the ability to perform physical tasks including lifting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
• Math skills to add/subtract two-digit numbers and compute totals.
• Reasoning abilities to follow simple instructions and handle standard situations.

Responsibilities

• Sort donated textiles and inspect quality for resale.
• Hang and price garments according to standards and inventory.
• Assist customers and process purchases at the register.
• Unload trucks, sort stock, and maintain clean shelves and work areas.

Education
