Job summary

Forgen seeks a Water Practice Lead to build and lead its water sector presence in Texas and the South-Central U.S. market.

You will act as a client-facing business development leader, bringing deep expertise in flood control, coastal resilience, and water storage and conveyance infrastructure to position Forgen as a premier construction partner. You will cultivate relationships with municipal districts, state and federal agencies, and engineering firms; own the regional pipeline; and collaborate

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years in water infrastructure with senior leadership in business development or project pursuit.
• Established relationships with Texas water sector clients and agencies.
• Experience with design-bid-build, CMAR, or similar delivery methods in water projects.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to engage diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own regional water sector opportunity pipeline across Texas and Gulf Coast.
• Lead client engagements, RFQ/RFP responses, and pursuit strategies to win awarded work.
• Collaborate with operations and estimating to convert pursuits into projects.
• Represent Forgen at industry events and build the Water Practice brand.
• Mentor and develop internal water-sector talent over time.
