Job summary

Forgen seeks the Water Practice Lead to build and lead our water sector presence across Texas and the South-Central U.S. market. You will serve as a client-facing BD leader, developing relationships with districts, agencies, and engineering firms to drive a robust pursuit pipeline.

The role emphasizes market authority in flood control, coastal resilience, and water storage/conveyance, coordinating with operations to win complex projects and expand the practice over time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years in water infrastructure with BD/pursuit leadership on flood control, dam, or water storage projects.
• Established relationships with Texas water sector clients and agencies.
• Experience with design-build, CMAR, or progressive design-build.
• Willingness to travel regionally and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow Texas/South-Central water market relationships with key decision-makers.
• Develop and own regional water sector opportunity pipeline and pursue opportunities to award.
• Coordinate with estimating, preconstruction, proposals, and operations to convert pursuits into awarded work.
• Represent Forgen at industry events, conferences, and association meetings to build brand in Texas water sector.
• Develop internal water sector expertise and mentor junior staff.
