Job summary

Stantec seeks a Texas Water Practice Leader to drive growth across municipal and state water markets in Texas. The role focuses on identifying opportunities, building client relationships, and aligning market strategies with federal and industrial practice leaders to pursue integrated opportunities.

The candidate will lead business development, manage plans and pipelines, and mentor staff while traveling as needed to fulfill responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Strong Texas municipal and state water market knowledge and demonstrated account management performance.
• Strong business development skills with an entrepreneurial orientation and client-relations expertise.
• Experience responding to RFQs, RFPs, and Statements of Qualifications.
• Strong leadership, team-building and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead complex water projects with focus on technical and delivery excellence.
• Passion for water-related projects.
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Pre-employment physical and drug screen will be required.

Responsibilities

• Identify growth opportunities for Texas Water, including municipal and state clients and acquisitions.
• Collaborate with federal and industrial Practice Leaders to pursue integrated opportunities.
• Develop and manage Texas marketing and business development plans and pipeline.
• Lead and implement business development strategies with key municipal/state clients.
• Provide leadership in talent development and project delivery oversight.
