Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Minimum 10 years in project management, technical leadership, and business development.
• Technically astute with ability to position teams and pursuits for execution, financial performance, and client satisfaction.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and sustain long-term client relationships.
• Exceptional communication skills—persuasive, engaging, and effective across audiences.
• Strong analytical and strategic mindset to identify market trends and growth opportunities.
• Ability to work independently, balance multiple priorities.
• Professional technical licensure or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic growth efforts across the Water market.
• Develop and execute targeted sales strategies aligned with organizational goals and water market priorities.
• Identify, pursue, and cultivate new opportunities across utilities, land development, municipalities, regional authorities, and water-focused public agencies.
• Manage client database (CRM), generate leads, and follow up to maintain a strong and sustainable opportunity pipeline.
• Develop compelling content for proposals, conferences, social media, and water-focused marketing initiatives.
• Represent CHA at water industry conferences and events, building lasting relationships with utility leaders, executives, and technical decision-makers.
• Collaborate with CHA leadership teams to support proposal development and strategic pursuit decisions.
• Provide market updates, sales forecasts, and strategic insights to senior leadership to inform growth planning.
