Job summary

Fortress Power seeks a Regional Sales Manager for Texas to own revenue growth in the territory. You will hunt and close net-new business across distribution and direct to installers, serving both residential and commercial markets in a consultative B2B framework.

You’ll manage complex sales with multiple stakeholders, travel regionally 50–70%, and train partners’ teams while providing field intelligence to shape product and pricing strategies. Remote role, based in Texas.

Qualifications

• A proven hunter with a track record of identifying, negotiating, and closing net-new technical B2B accounts.
• 5+ years in technical B2B sales or sales management.
• Solar/energy storage industry experience with knowledge of PV systems, inverters, and battery storage; understanding distributor and installer landscapes.
• Self-directed and able to work independently.
• Based in Texas with ability to travel 50–70% within the region for client visits, site evaluations, and trade shows.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a technical discipline preferred.
• Energy storage sales experience.
• Existing network of installers, EPCs, and distributors in the Northeast.

Responsibilities

• Hunt and close net-new distributor, EPC, and installer accounts across Texas.
• Define territory strategy from outreach to growth of the account.
• Navigate complex multi-decision-maker B2B sales from small shops to larger firms.
• Grow revenue across residential and commercial channels.
• Provide hands-on product and sales training for partners’ teams.
• Provide field intelligence to product and marketing on positioning, pricing, and competition.
