Job summary

Tempo Communications is seeking a highly motivated sales professional to expand our market in Texas, owning the territory and guiding opportunities from first contact to repeat business. You will develop new accounts with electric utilities, cooperatives, municipalities, and electrical contractors, and lead product evaluations and approvals through long-cycle sales.

You will collaborate with Product Management, Technical Support, Inside Sales, and Marketing to turn customer needs into solutions

Qualifications

• 5+ years of outside sales experience to electric utilities.
• Proven ability to open new markets and win new accounts.
• Established relationships with utility decision-makers and contractors in Texas.
• Comfort selling complex, standards-driven products and navigating long cycles.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prioritize, and win new accounts among electric utilities and municipal utilities throughout Texas.
• Develop new business with electrical contractors and guide opportunities into orders.
• Guide opportunities through the full approval and field evaluation process.
• Plan, forecast, and manage a qualified pipeline with clear stages and close dates.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and collaborate with product management and marketing.
