Job summary

U.S. Legal Support is seeking a Director of Business Development to lead and grow our Texas territory, expanding client relationships and pursuing new business opportunities with law firms, corporate legal departments, and insurance organizations.

You will use consultative selling to present our litigation support services, drive revenue growth, and collaborate with operations to ensure top-tier client experiences. Travel within Texas is required.

Qualifications

• Legal industry experience in related services (litigation support, court reporting, legal tech) is required.
• Proven success in business development, account management, or outside sales.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory growth strategies to achieve and exceed sales objectives.
• Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients while identifying new opportunities.
• Build relationships across client levels including Paralegals, Attorneys, and Partners.
• Promote and sell litigation support services through a consultative sales approach.
• Deliver professional presentations and product demonstrations tailored to client needs.
• Understand pricing, value propositions and communicate offerings effectively.
• Maximize revenue through strategic account management and development activities.
• Provide client training and support related to services and technology solutions.
• Generate new business via networking, referrals, events, and proactive prospecting.
• Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline, and forecasting information.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
• Attend all required sales meetings, training sessions, and company initiatives.
