Job summary

JDH is seeking a Regional Account Manager to drive sales of dairy and beef feed commodities, minerals, and calf feeds across a Texas territory. You will perform farm calls, build long-term relationships with dairies and feed yards, and report to the General Manager.

The role emphasizes on-farm selling, understanding cattle markets, and delivering value-added products while maintaining safety and compliance. Travel within Texas and occasional nationwide travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Animal Nutrition, or related field preferred.
• Two years of sales experience in animal nutrition preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships.
• Able to manage credit and credit limits.

Responsibilities

• Perform farm sales calls and develop strong producer relationships.
• Sell dairy/beef feed commodities, minerals, calf feeds and value-added products.
• Set growth goals based on animal numbers and market share potential.
• Understand cattle markets for discussions with producers.
• Travel within Texas and occasional travel nationwide as needed.
