Job summary

APTIM’s Energy Transition team is seeking an experienced Contractor Liaison based in Texas to recruit, engage, and support contractors for HOMES/HEEHR programs. The role will work with the Contractor Network Manager to scale the contractor network and ensure compliant, high-quality project execution.

The position requires deep knowledge of energy efficiency and weatherization, strong communication, and the ability to travel within Texas regularly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience related to contractor outreach and engagement.
• Knowledge of energy efficiency and weatherization programs.
• Technical understanding of measures offered through programs.
• Experience working with and/or for contractors in the state of Texas.
• Strong time management, project management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and verify federally funded energy efficiency projects.
• Recruit and onboard contractors to the program network.
• Develop and lead presentations for HOMES/HEEHR at events.
• Respond to contractor inquiries in a timely manner.
• Perform field QA/QC visits for assigned territory.
• Maintain annual compliance checks for enrolled contractors.
• Provide regular communications to the network (webinars, newsletters, etc.).
• Deliver collateral and contacts to contractors for engagement.
• Travel within Texas and occasional out-of-state travel.
