Addison Group is seeking a Litigation Paralegal in Austin, TX to manage a high-volume Texas civil litigation caseload from inception through judgment, supporting attorneys with drafting, filings, and trial preparation.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of Texas civil litigation paralegal experience, strong organizational skills, proficiency with MS Office and legal case management systems, and a readiness to work on-site in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Texas civil litigation paralegal experience required.
• Experience managing civil litigation matters from inception through judgment.
• Strong knowledge of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure.
• Experience with legal drafting, court filings, deadlines, and electronic filing systems.
• Trial preparation experience preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and legal case management tools.

Responsabilités

• Manage civil litigation cases from inception through judgment.
• Assist with property tax, delinquent tax, and foreclosure litigation matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Electronically file court documents and monitor deadlines.
• Coordinate court settings and hearings.
• Support trial preparation, evidence organization, and case documentation.
• Communicate with court personnel, opposing counsel, clients, and others.
• Maintain organized case files and maintain case management records.
• Track activity, deadlines, and litigation progress.
• Conduct legal and procedural research as needed.
