Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a Trial Litigation Paralegal in Austin, TX to support attorneys on Commercial and Construction Litigation matters. The role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong trial prep experience who can work independently and manage cases from inception through trial.

The ideal candidate will have experience in both Commercial and Construction Litigation in a fast-paced environment. This hybrid role offers opportunities to support trials throughout the year.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of litigation paralegal experience.
• Experience in Commercial Litigation and Construction Litigation.
• Experience with Texas court filings, discovery, docket management, and litigation deadlines.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and strong organizational skills.
• Strong communication and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support Commercial Litigation and Construction Litigation matters from inception through trial.
• Draft, prepare, proofread, and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, subpoenas, and other legal documents.
• Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and witness materials; coordinate deposition, mediation, and hearing materials.
• Manage litigation calendars, court deadlines, docketing, and case files; ensure deadlines are met.
• Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, expert witnesses, and court personnel throughout the litigation process.
• Maintain accurate case records using Filevine and track attorney time with LMS.
• Travel approximately 5–6 times per year to support trials.
