Addison Group in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a Paralegal – Civil Litigation for a contract-to-hire role. The position is 100% onsite with a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM and a 1-hour lunch.

The Paralegal will support multiple attorneys with research, document preparation, court filings, and deadline management. Salary is $31–$36 per hour, plus eligibility for medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k), with potential for permanent employment based on performance.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of paralegal experience in a law firm setting.
• Background in civil litigation, litigation defense, personal injury, or related area.
• Experience managing multiple cases and deadlines.
• Strong legal research and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with legal research or case management software.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while supporting multiple attorneys.

Aufgaben

• Research statutes, case law, court procedures, and other legal resources relevant to active matters.
• Draft, revise, and proofread motions, briefs, pleadings, writs, and other legal documents.
• Review transcripts, court records, and case materials to identify important information and potential issues.
• Prepare and coordinate filings with state, county, and federal courts while ensuring deadlines are met.
• Review documents for accurate citations, formatting, and compliance with applicable court requirements.
• Maintain case calendars, track important deadlines, and keep files organized throughout the litigation process.
• Assist attorneys with hearing and trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and researching supporting case law.
• Provide day-to-day administrative and litigation support across multiple cases.
