Job summary

HNTB is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager with proven bridge inspection experience to lead our Central States Office. You will mentor and grow our local bridge inspection team while contributing to service line growth at the national level.

This role manages projects through full lifecycle—from scope and proposals to contract negotiations and delivery—while coordinating with cross‑discipline teams to achieve 4for4 performance: on time, on budget, quality work, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 8 years of relevant experience.
• 2 years task management or Deputy PM experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scope, fee quotations, and assist with technical proposals.
• Serve as primary client liaison and manage the project team to meet scope, schedule, and budget.
• Perform technical discipline tasks including analysis, reports, design, and production.
• Lead the project delivery plan using SDA and mentor the team toward objectives.
• Coordinate staffing, recruitment, and performance reviews for project staff.
• Support business development with client relationships and proposal materials.
• Recruitment and retention of staff and ensure project performance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
