Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a Senior Small Business Sales - Middle Market to lead growth within merchant portfolios in Texas. You will consult with owners and C-suite executives, build a strong referral network, and manage a proactive outreach strategy to drive revenue.

You will travel within the territory to prospect new local businesses, expand relationships, and deliver value-driven presentations that align with client needs.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Merchant Sales experience required.
• Deep knowledge of the payments industry, Interchange, and gateway connectivity.
• Background in SAAS, Banking, Payables and Receivables is a plus.
• Proficient in Salesforce as a CRM is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business growth and profitability in existing accounts by spotting high-impact opportunities.
• Serve as the strategic sales lead, consulting with owners and C-suite executives.
• Build and energize a strong referral network with Commercial Bank partners while generating sales momentum.
• Manage pipeline through Commercial Bank referrals and self-generated COI leads.
• Partner with partner sales teams to expand existing customer relationships.
• Deliver persuasive, value-driven presentations showing how solutions meet client needs.
• Travel within a designated territory to prospect, build relationships, and sign new local businesses.
