Job summary

The Virginia Department of Fire Programs seeks a Testing and Certification Coordinator to supervise statewide testing and certification operations. You will coordinate computer-based and traditional testing, manage certification processing and testing records, and ensure secure, timely administration of testing and related processes.

Reporting to the Testing and Certification Manager, you will develop standardized procedures, conduct quality assurance, and provide customer support.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating testing, certification, credentialing, or training administration.
• Experience with enterprise information systems like LMS, training management, testing platforms, or records systems.
• Knowledge of fire and emergency services training, certification programs, and accreditation practices.
• Experience interpreting policies, procedures, or regulatory requirements.
• Experience providing training or guidance to staff or stakeholders.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills and data management experience.
