Job summary

Siemens Mobility’s Test Laboratory Co-op at North Carolina State University in Wendell, NC invites qualified students to join for Summer–Fall 2027. You’ll support testing of switchgear, assist with sample assembly, operate measurement equipment, and contribute to test reports and procedures.

You must be enrolled in a bachelor’s program in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, be within 50 miles of Wendell, work on-site 40 hours per week, and have NC State co-op eligibility.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering field and approaching completion of the required educational credentials for this opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the testing and evaluation of medium-voltage and low-voltage switchgear, including MCC, GM-SG, SDV7, and gas-insulated switchgear.
