Job summary

RON SUNSHINE ASSOCIATES LLC is seeking a Test Engineering Manager to lead the test development and production test engineering teams for PCBA and electromechanical systems. You will own the design, implementation, and optimization of automated, cost-effective test strategies that bridge design requirements with factory execution.

Responsibilities include steering architectural development of automated test environments, collaborating with Design, Production Operations, and Quality teams to apply

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related technical field.
• 5–8+ years engineering experience in a PCBA EMS environment.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory/management role.
• Robust knowledge of SMT, through-hole, and mixed-technology processes; test instrumentation and automated test platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the test development and production test teams.
• Architect standardized, reusable test equipment and automated test environments (ICT, Flying Probe, functional testing).
• Oversee diagnostic programs and test automation using LabVIEW/TestStand/C#/ .NET.
