Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Test Engineering Manager to lead test development and production test teams. You will own automated test strategies for complex PCBA and electromechanical systems, bridging design requirements with factory execution to ensure reliability and quality throughput.

The role requires 5–8+ years in PCBA EMS, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity, and strong expertise in ICT, flying probe, and functional testing frameworks.

Qualifications

Minimum 5–8+ years of engineering experience in a PCBA EMS environment.
At least 3 years in a supervisory or management capacity.
Strong knowledge of electronics manufacturing workflows and test instrumentation.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of electrical engineers, test developers, and technicians.
Design and implement automated test strategies and fixtures.
Develop or oversee diagnostic programs and test automation.
Collaborate with Design, Production, and Quality teams on DFT/DFM.
Analyze failure trends and optimize test cycles for throughput.
