Job summary

KLA Industries is seeking a Test Engineering Manager in Johnstown, PA to lead test development and production test teams for PCBA and electromechanical systems, ensuring reliability and quality.

You will drive automated test strategies, mentor engineers, and collaborate with Design, Production, and Quality to implement DFT/DFM early in product life cycle. The role requires hands-on leadership and a track record in EMS environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5–8+ years in PCBA manufacturing/EMS with supervisory experience.
• Robust knowledge of electronics manufacturing flows and test platforms.
• Familiarity with IPC, ISO 9001, AS9100, or IATF 16949 standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians.
• Develop standardized test equipment and automated environments.
• Oversee diagnostic programs and test automation frameworks.
• Collaborate with Design, Production, and Quality teams on DFT/DFM.
• Analyze PCBA failure data to improve test cycles and quality.
