Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Test Engineering Manager 2 for the Roy, UT location, supporting the Sentinel Program. You will lead a section of 6–12 engineers, provide mentorship, manage performance, and coordinate with program leadership to meet schedule and cost goals.

You will spend 20% on Functional Homeroom responsibilities and 80% on a technical assignment, with a strong emphasis on network test deployment and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8 years of related work experience, or Masters with 6 years of related experience.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance at time of application with SAP eligibility.
• Experience supporting the development of test networks.

Responsibilities

• Grow, develop, and manage a diverse team of network engineers, system administrators.
• Develop and deploy a flight test network.
• Coordinate with key stakeholders to ensure requirements and capabilities are captured and implemented.
• Interface with internal and external customers.
• Provide career mentorship and operational support to a Functional Home Room team of 6–12 ICs.
• Spend 20% on Functional Homeroom responsibilities and 80% on a technical assignment on an SDS project/ IPT.
