Job summary

Altronic, LLC, a Cooper Machinery Services company, seeks a Test Engineering Manager to lead Production Test Engineering within Operations. Reporting to the VP of Manufacturing, this role partners with Manufacturing Engineering, Product Engineering, and Quality Engineering to implement new product end-of-line and intermediary tests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology.
• Minimum 5+ years of electronics test engineering experience.
• Strong root-cause analysis and corrective-action experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills with multi-priority management.
• Proficiency with quality control tools (documents, spreadsheets, databases).

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of test hardware and software for existing and new products.
• Partner with Quality, Design Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering for root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Translate test specifications into hardware/software during new-product development.
• Evaluate and improve existing test hardware/software for efficiency and coverage.
• Lead ICT program development, analysis, and procurement in collaboration with Quality.
• Maintain knowledge of emerging test engineering hardware/software trends.
• Supervise Test Engineers with deadlines, training, and professional growth.
• Participate in Engineering Design Reviews related to Test Engineering.
• Ensure on-time delivery of test engineering outputs for new product releases.
