Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Sr. Manager of Manufacturing Test Engineering to oversee production test systems across the portfolio, ensuring rigorous testing and scalable automation and data analytics.

You will lead a team to improve throughput, quality, and cost efficiency while guiding transitions from pre-production to mass production. The role combines electrical, mechanical, and software/firmware test responsibilities, with emphasis on safety and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years leading manufacturing test engineering.
• Expertise with Linux, C#, Python, and NixOS.
• Solid experience with PCBA/electronic assembly testing and testing standards.
• Proficiency with electronic test equipment.
• Strong analytical skills for root cause analysis of non-conforming hardware.
• Experience with PLM/MES/TES systems.
• Experience managing cross-disciplinary projects.

Responsibilities

• Direct the manufacturing test engineering team, set objectives and guide outcomes.
• Architect and oversee test strategy for scalable production.
• Implement advancements in testing, focusing on automation and efficiency.
• Evaluate test data, identify opportunities for product and process improvements.
• Communicate strategy to stakeholders and guide production scaling from LRIP to FRP.
• Collaborate with product development for design testability.
• Lead procurement and ROI analyses for new test equipment.
• Foster safety, cost reduction, quality improvement, and productivity.
