Job summary

Alten Technology USA is seeking a Software Integration Engineer to support development, testing, and validation of advanced heavy-duty powertrain systems in a dedicated laboratory. The role focuses on test automation, software tools, data management, and regulatory-aligned testing, requiring collaboration with engineers and technicians.

You will design and maintain SQL databases, build C#-based automation utilities, and integrate lab instrumentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated test procedures using laboratory automation platforms.
• Maintain databases for laboratory operations and test data management.
• Develop interfaces and software applications to support test-cell operations and workflows.
• Diagnose and resolve software/hardware issues in powertrain test environments.
• Produce technical documentation for tools, automation capabilities, and system requirements.
