Job summary

Atlas Copco Edwards seeks an experienced leader to define and drive the software test strategy for production test rigs. You will provide technical leadership in validation activities, oversee testing, analyze results, and report metrics to stakeholders.

You will also advance test automation, diagnostics, and governance to improve reliability and manufacturing efficiency. You will collaborate with global teams, mentor staff, and ensure maintainability of software across evolving production

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Production Test Rig, Test Engineering, or Manufacturing Software environments.
• 5+ years of hands-on NI LabVIEW development, test automation, and software validation.
• Experience with Python-based automation, diagnostics, and data analysis.
• Experience with MongoDB, SQL and industrial data management systems.
• Industrial protocols such as RS232, RS485, Ethernet, Modbus TCP/RTU.
• Experience with Jira and stakeholder management.
• Technical leadership, safety, regulatory compliance, cybersecurity and SHE awareness.
• Vacuum system and semiconductor manufacturing knowledge (preferred).
• Fluent English communication (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the software test strategy for production test rigs to reduce field defects.
• Provide technical leadership in planning, development, and improvement of validation activities.
• Oversee software testing, analyze results, and report quality metrics and risks.
• Drive root cause analysis and resolution of software and hardware issues affecting operations.
• Collaborate with global teams to deliver robust, right-first-time solutions.
• Communicate test progress, quality status, risks, and improvements to stakeholders.
• Lead and support test and build automation and diagnostic capability enhancements.
• Define and implement best practices and governance for software testing across environments.
• Mentor team members and promote a culture of quality and operational excellence.
• Ensure production test rig software remains reliable, maintainable, and scalable.
