Job summary

Northstrat is seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join our Agile development team. The role emphasizes balancing manual testing with automated scripting to ensure the seamless operation of complex systems in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include executing unit and integration tests, documenting results, supporting defect management, and creating test plans and reports. A current US government secret clearance is required, with 5–8 years of experience and proficiency in CI/CD tools

Qualifications

• Requires active US government secret clearance (no exceptions).
• 5–8 years of relevant experience; bachelor’s degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms (GitLab, GitHub Actions, Bamboo).
• Experience with end-to-end testing frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress).
• Experience with PowerShell and Bash scripting; ability to read Python, JavaScript, and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Execute unit, integration, regression, and acceptance tests; develop test plans and test cases.
• Document and track defects; prepare status reports and metrics.
• Perform requirement analysis and create test products, plans, and reports.
• Assist with RVTM, Use Cases, and UI specifications artifacts.
• Set up and maintain Linux/Windows test environments; ensure timely defect retests.
