Job summary

GRVTY is seeking a Test Engineer to join our Agile development team in Sterling, VA. You will balance manual testing with automated scripting across complex systems, ensuring integration and performance requirements are met.

Responsibilities include executing unit, integration, regression, and acceptance tests; documenting results; and supporting defect tracking. A US government security clearance and 5–8 years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active US government security clearance required.
• 5–8 years of relevant test engineering experience.
• Experience with CI/CD: GitLab, GitHub Actions, and Bamboo.
• Experience with end-to-end testing frameworks: Playwright, Selenium, Cypress.
• PowerShell and Bash scripting required.
• Able to read Python, JavaScript, and SQL code.
• Experience in creating test plans, test cases, and reports.

Responsibilities

• Execute unit and component tests for all project components.
• Conduct integration testing including performance benchmarks and functional checks.
• Support production break/fix and enhancement testing efforts.
• Document and analyze test results; prepare status reports and defect metrics.
• Create test plans, test cases, and test reports with quality outputs.
• Assist with RVTM, Use Cases, and UI specifications.
