Job summary

CCG is seeking a Test Engineer to enhance automation and software testing capabilities, supporting mission-critical tasks for government customers. You will design test plans, execute manual tests, and help develop automated scripts to strengthen the testing suite.

Role requires DoD TS/SCI clearance eligibility, strong pytest experience, and a mix of testing disciplines from functional to performance. Collaboration with developers and CI/CD integration are key aspects.

Qualifications

Must be able to obtain a DoD TS/SCI security clearance.
Experience creating and implementing tests using Pytest.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline; degree can be met with four years of hands-on QA experience.
Ability to validate software requirements through multiple forms of test with limited supervision.
Experience performing manual testing.
Experience writing test cases, maintaining test suites, defining test requirements.
General understanding of computer networking principles.
Drive for excellence and quality; team success before self.
Ability to develop scripts to automate the QA / Test process.

Responsibilities

Design and document test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.
Perform manual testing as required.
Assist in updating and developing automated test scripts.
Document and monitor testing outcomes.
Provide feedback to developers regarding functionality and usability of software.
Manage CI/CD Pipeline Integrations with the support of the developers.
