Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a Test Engineer to join our SLBM team at NSWCDD in Dahlgren, VA. You will design and maintain automated test scripts, write test plans, and run manual and automated tests across multiple levels, ensuring traceability to requirements.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in software/systems testing, proficiency with Linux, and experience with DOORS/Jira/Azure DevOps. US citizenship and on-site work are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software/systems testing experience or equivalent education.
• Experience running/writing automation scripts or code.
• Comfortable reviewing C++ code and working with Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Write detailed test plans, test descriptions, and test cases tied to requirements.
• Execute manual and automated testing across static, dynamic, integration, and system levels.
• Interface with government customers daily and present testing results when needed.
